# Tokenomics

The below overview details the distribution of $POQ tokens, as well as the technical and non-technical details of our $POQ token. As mentioned in the [Fees & Revenue Flywheel](/polyliquid-docs/getting-started/fees-and-revenue-flywheel.md), investors in $POQ benefit from a growing Polyliquid platform, as revenue is largely used to buyback and burn tokens. Moreover, to be eligible for S1, S2 and any other airdrops in the future, you must hold $POQ tokens.\

As mentioned earlier in the Product Docs, while the first 2 Airdrops derive from the initial supply, the monthly airdrops after that are financed through $POQ buybacks, which are in turn financed through 20% of the revenue generated through our platform.
